How it works
A flutter that does good.
Each ticket costs £3 a month and goes into our monthly draw. One winner takes home half the pot, and the other half goes straight into our ministry with young people. The more players, the bigger the prize — and the more good we can do.

Every pound that comes in is divided fairly — half for the players, half for the young people.
To the winner
One winner each month takes home half the total pot. Last year's biggest single win was over £700 — and it grows as more people play.
To the ministry
The other half goes directly to Castlerigg and the Lancaster Youth Service — funding retreats, bursaries and our work across the Diocese.

The legal bit
Terms & conditions.
The Castlerigg Lottery is run to support the Lancaster Youth Service. Please read the rules before you play.
- Age. You must be 16 or over to buy a ticket or take part in the draw.
- Cost. Each entry costs £3 per month, paid by ongoing subscription until you cancel.
- The draw. One draw takes place each month, with a single winner selected at random from all valid entries. We reserve the right to skip some months and have rollovers the next month, and we often do so.
- The prize. The winner receives 50% of the total monthly pot; the remaining 50% supports Castlerigg Manor and the Lancaster Youth Service.
- Entries. Your payment must be received before midnight on the first of the month to be included in that month's draw.
- Winners. Winners are notified directly using the contact details provided at sign-up.
- Cancelling. You can cancel your subscription at any time; entries stop from the next unpaid month.
- Promoter. The lottery is promoted by the Lancaster Youth Service // Castlerigg Manor, Manor Brow, Keswick CA12 4AR. Part of the Diocese of Lancaster, Charity No. 234331 and is properly registered with the local authority as a small society lottery.
